“Your Thursday” Artist Meetings: Conversation with Işık Güner: From Observation to Plant Drawing

About

As part of the “Your Thursday” Artist Meetings, Işık Güner explores how a plant becomes a painting through observation, using sweet chestnut as an example. Participants observe a live watercolour demonstration and learn about her materials, methods and the relationship between scientific accuracy and artistic interpretation in botanical painting.
